What is relationship?

Ans: I respect and accept your individuality, your differentiability. I understand you. You do the same and our relationship grows.

What is relationship?

The crazy fact: You fulfill my expectations, I’ll fulfill yours. But, if my individuality is at stake, you don’t understand me. I wonder why out relationship is not growing.

Where To Find Courage

ID-100246964

I don’t know what is going on in mind

Don’t know why my head is aching

My eyes heavy, feeling purposeless

Feeling bored, feeling stuck in a time warp

I feel like my actions are restricted,

Not free, not driven by purpose

It’s bound to rules or trying to

Create an impression or image

Or don’t feel love, appreciated

No free and fearless actions

There is a rope to which

I’m bound, not allowing me to escape

Can’t do anything in my way,

Signed up for fulfilling expectations of

Others, for their approval

But I know that’s not my way

So what? Try to find an intermediate way

But that way involves compromising yourself

Doing things half-heartedly, mechanically

Without emotions and feelings involved

I’m a human, I can’t do that

In order to do things in my way

Doing what I think is right for me

Requires courage, confronting fears

Coming out of comfort zone

But don’t want to be uncomfortable

Because the crazy fact is,

People who are supposed to be my greatest fans,

Do not believe in me, then

From where I’m supposed to find courage

Compromising Oneself

“Sorry, I’m busy in completing assignments, so I can’t come with you to deliver packets of biscuits to your clients,” said Ketan.

“This is not fair! When it comes to help you, I never said no; even though I had to lie to my parents or hide the truth from your so called ‘girlfriends’,” replied Aryan.

“I thought that you had no problem doing it & I can’t say yes if I want to say no.”

“You always have some excuse.”

“But try to understand, dude! I thought you had done for our friendship.”

“What kind of friendship?”

“Then why didn’t you tell me that you didn’t want to do it?”

Aryan remain silent for some moment, because he did it to prove that he was helpful, caring which he was not; but tried to project as one in others eyes.

“I don’t want to have friendship with those who do not have a helping hand. We’re done here,” said Aryan furiously to conceal his fake nature & left.

Ketan also didn’t react thinking it was a cruel treatment.

The crazy fact is, relationships formed based on compromising oneself yields bitterness amongst people involved.
